Absolutely horrible customer service. I’m having issues with transferring origin from my old lap top to my new and I’m getting nowhere in the 3 days since I reached out for customer support. All I want is to access the sims and I have had 5 different emails asking for the same info from 5 different people. Get it together origin I’ve spent a LOT on sims games over the years and you can’t even give the common courtesy of a real person to help me solve this problem in a timely manner?!

30 years ago I bought via EA Games all the Command & conquer games, and several Need for speed and some others. Some years after Origin started, you could not anymore access your games, without paying type of rent - for your personally owned games.... ! This is abusive, thievery, unacceptable. I demand all invested money returned, and will never again make use of EA Games / Origin. How can such practice be accepted worlwide ???

Why am I locked out of games I've already paid for? Why am I constantly signing in every time, although it's offline? The person who designed online requirements and constant updates for finished offline games should take a long walk off a short pier (to be PG).

I only play the Sims and NO OTHER EA games. That is partially due to the violence in the other games, lack of interest and lack of customer service with the Sims. Yes they have made a ton of money off of the Sims and each year they concoct upgrades to maintain their control over the game. When I first purchased my Sim games they were install and play. But EA and Origin figured out how to continue sapping money from the players and gaining so much control over the game. Each upgrade crashes the game and now customer service is by EMAIL and it takes up to 72 hours to get a response. How long are they going to continue robbing players?

I bought Command & Conquer™ The Ultimate Collection, the games always crash, it does not save properly most of the time, and the software freezes and crashes as well, this is an absoulte joke, do yourself a favour use steam

There is not a single worse platform than this one. Just the fact that it's by EA speaks enough, but on top of everything you can't even download games normally without anything screwing up.

I made an account for origin and when it says public id all the random public ids i put in did not work i put in 4 characters like what the heck i would not play origin if i were you

THE APP MADE ME REDO MY PASSWORD AFTER YEARS OF NEVER HAVING TO DO THIS. IT TOOK FOREVER TO EVEN DO ANYTHING. I HAD TO DO THE "HUMAN VERIFICATION" THING LIKE 3 TIMES. THEN I FIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYY GET ON AND I HAVE TO UPDATE GAMES. WTF

Bought a game about 3 months ago and started playing, i got bored and stopped. Yesterday i decided to log back in my account and started playing. Today i went back on and suddenly it kicked me out with no explanation! It said 'cannot log in without internet connection', but i had internet. I have just logged in to see no games in my library. 0/5 stars, very horrible customer service and very horrible help! And whatever the 'product code' is to 'access your game anytime, anywhere - even if you lose your disc' doesn't work as well! Very horrible engine do not recommend at all! A summary of what happened to me is my account got reset. My Wishlist, my icon, my games, even my achievements!

I have paid for Sims 4 on EA and have dowloaded and had Origin on my PC since december. I had many issues but still used because there are no other options. Now I am having the same issues as "not found" files that are in my computer etc. Do the things that have worked with addvice given on your website to fix the issue still nothing no accurate things you say "work" have worked. Its frustrating because I payed for a game and system that i have to use origin for only and i continue to have issue becasue of the Origin app. So, I do not give you a good rating and I hope someone seeing this creates us a platform that is succesful and you actually helpful to your users

If you can use any other gaming platform then do that don't even bother with this one, you will have to install it to play EA games but launch it through Steam or Epic Games cause this launcher is actually the worst thing ever, it barely even works. Launching games on this is such a nightmare and it's not even a problem for just me, I'll click play and the game just won't launch so I have to close it with task manager and even restarting it and trying again multiple times it still won't work. If you want to play EA games it still doesn't even feel worth it if it's online, because the servers are so awful. All in all they genuinely didn't try and don't even care for this service.

Garbage.
I wanted to play a game DA:I in a language (French) that's not my country's (which basically every launcher offers, even barebones barely sufficient launchers like EGS, it's honestly so basic). I was a bit concerned before installing as the language option in question didn't appear, so I checked with one of the EA people via live chat, who guaranteed that I would be able to access the language.
Surprise: I couldn't. So I requested a refund as this is false advertising. Told I was ineligible as my version was region locked and never supposed to have that language! Sometimes customer service people make mistakes, it happens, but to then make the customer suffer for that is ridiculous.
Just avoid Origin, it's pretty much as bad as people as say it is. The nerve of EA to make its games only available on such trash is ridiculous.

Edit1:trying to resolve this with their customer service is painful. Full on reading off a script, definitely seems like it's outsourced to another country but might be wrong, often not great command of English regardless.
2 times so far different agents have just ended the live chat without warning because they couldn't be bothered to actually give a useful response.

When I Try To Download A Game It Won't Let Me Download It. This Should Not Be Happening. I Do Not Recommend This To Anyone.
